Riding

We are in the process of moving our Doone Valley Trekking business to Caffyns, and can at present offer rides around the fields, woods and valleys here lasting up to one hour for all ages and abilities. However, we will soon be offering coastal trekking around the Caffyns area, which has some ofthe most stunning scenery for riders in North Devon. We have many years experience of providing rides from an hour to a day through the beautiful Exmoor countryside, moors and valleys, and we will be developing this further here in due course. We have a large stable of good quality horses, with tiny ponies for small children right up to large cobs and huge Belgians for huge adults.

For those of you camping with us, riding can be arranged on the spot. If you are not staying with us, we ask that you call us to book your rides in advance. We gladly take large parties for riding, but again please book ahead.

In the meantime, we are also planning to open our Exmoor Trekking Centre on North HIll overlooking Minehead. Our location here is spectacular, and the bridleways, which run along the coast margin and criss-cross the moors over to Selworthy and across to Bossington, cover some of the most stunning Exmoor landscapes in which to ride.
