Having run Doone Valley Holidays from Cloud Farm for seven years, we felt that it was time to spread our wings. Our interim stay at Hallslake Farm gave us the time to look for a more substantial property that would serve as a long term base and allow us to expand our Holidays business. So when the opportunity to buy Caffyns Farm on the coast near Lynton came up, we knew it was the perfect place to re-locate the business. And while Cloud Farm and Hallslake were beautiful, Caffyns is in a league of its own...

With 136 acres (over half of it flat and with a perfect mix of secluded and open fields) set in one of Exmoor's most beautiful coastal locations, and with a range of outbuildings suitable for development, Caffyns gives us the scope to offer the perfect holiday destination to all-comers.

Caffyns is a totally unique destination in its own right; the peace, seclusion, space and views are stunning, the atmosphere is stress-free. There is so much land, sea, sky and horizon here, that even in high season, it will still feel uncrowded and relaxing! And yet we are easily accessible, less than ten minutes from Lynton and Lynmouth and close to all the North Devon towns, tourist attractions, beaches and countryside that people love. Camping or caravanning here with us gives you the perfect base to do whatever you want...walking, touring, riding (from our own stables), cycling (we have our own bike hire), or just relaxing in our acres of tranquil countryside and admiring the views...from the lovely hills and valleys that surround us to panoramic views over the Valley of the Rocks, Lee Bay and the sea beyond. And when you want to explore, Exmoor’s scenery, legends, coasts, moors and villages are all here on our doorstep, still unspoilt, uncrowded and largely undiscovered. With our range of secluded campsite areas (and yes we still allow campfires), camping facilities and supplies, plus the warm, relaxed welcome that we became famous for while at Cloud and Hallslake Farms, you’ll soon see that this is a holiday retreat like no other. We are already open for business, and with no need to book, we look forward to seeing you soon.
